Objectives.
Lesson Objectives: To present and practise the alphabet, cardinal and ordinal numbers, and colours; to familiarise Ss with addresses and telephone numbers; to ask about name and age; and to learn a/an.

- [Aim] To present and practise the alphabet
• Play the recording.
• Ss listen and repeat the letters. Check Ss’ intonation.

- [Aim] To practise asking about names and spelling names
• Choose two Ss to read the example dialogue.
• Allow Ss time to complete the task with the rest of the names in closed pairs.
• Monitor the activity around the class and check for correct pronunciation.
• Ask some pairs to act out a dialogue in front of the class.
